In this reading group, we’ll read novels and short stories by authors from different English-speaking
countries.
We advise you to read the book before the meeting, so you can actively participate in the
conversation, but you can attend also if you haven’t read the book, or if you have read it in Italian.
We’ll discuss the book both in Italian, and, for those who are confident, in English as well.
Leggeremo romanzi e racconti di autori anglofoni di varia provenienza.
Si consiglia di leggere il libro prima dell’incontro per partecipare in modo attivo, ma può partecipare
anche chi non ha letto il libro, o lo ha letto in lingua italiana. La discussione si tiene sia in lingua
italiana sia, per chi se la sente, in lingua inglese.

Friday 28th March 2025 – The big sleep, by Raymond Chandler
Friday 23rd May 2025 – Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury
All meetings will be held in the Magazine and Newspaper Section of the library.
